Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about transfers, providers, and billing.

What is SaveToDrive?

SaveToDrive is a cloud fetch and transfer service. You connect your cloud storage accounts, then ask our servers to pull a file from a URL or move files between connected drives — without using your own bandwidth.

Which cloud providers are supported?

Today: Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, and pCloud. OneDrive, YouTube, and other providers are on the roadmap and not yet available.

Do you store my files?

No. Transfers stream through our workers in real time. We store encrypted OAuth tokens and job metadata, not copies of your content.

How does monthly quota work?

Each plan includes a monthly bandwidth allowance (bytes successfully transferred). Only completed jobs count. Unknown-size sources are allowed but counted after completion.

What is a share ratio?

Paid plans run on shared worker pools. A 3:1 ratio means up to three concurrent transfers may share the same server resources. Premium plans offer dedicated capacity (1:1).

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Paid plans are month-to-month. When billing goes live, you will be able to cancel from your account settings without a long-term contract.

Is billing live yet?

The free tier is available now. Paid checkout is wired through Paddle in configured environments, and subscription provisioning will expand from there.

What happens if a transfer fails?

Failed jobs do not consume quota. You can retry from your feed. If a connection token expires, we notify you to reconnect the provider.

Is remote upload allowed for any URL?

You must have the right to access and store the content. Our Terms of Service prohibit copyright infringement and other abusive use. See our Terms and DMCA policy.

How do notifications work?

You can receive transfer updates via in-app inbox, browser push, or email. Configure channels per notification type in your account settings.
