Cloud-to-cloud

Transfer files from Google Drive to MinIO

Connect Google Drive and MinIO, pick files, and let SaveToDrive stream them server-side. Copy to keep the source, or move after a verified upload.

Why this works well

  • No download-then-reupload on your laptop
  • Live progress, speed, and ETA in one activity feed
  • Works in the background — close the tab if you want

How to do it

  1. Connect Google Drive and MinIO (OAuth or S3 keys).
  2. Open Transfer and select files on Google Drive.
  3. Choose MinIO as the destination and copy or move.
  4. Watch progress live; get notified when it finishes.

FAQ

Do you keep a copy of files from Google Drive?

No durable copy. Bytes stream Google Drive → worker → MinIO for the duration of the job.

Can I move instead of copy?

Yes. Move deletes the source after a verified successful upload when the provider supports delete.

Does a failed transfer use quota?

No. Only successfully completed transfers count toward monthly bandwidth.
