Cloud-to-cloud

Transfer files from Google Drive to S3-compatible storage

Connect Google Drive and S3-compatible storage, pick files, and let SaveToDrive stream them server-side. Copy to keep the source, or move after a verified upload.

Why this works well

  • No download-then-reupload on your laptop
  • Live progress, speed, and ETA in one activity feed
  • Works in the background — close the tab if you want

How to do it

  1. Connect Google Drive and S3-compatible storage (OAuth or S3 keys).
  2. Open Transfer and select files on Google Drive.
  3. Choose S3-compatible storage as the destination and copy or move.
  4. Watch progress live; get notified when it finishes.

FAQ

Do you keep a copy of files from Google Drive?

No durable copy. Bytes stream Google Drive → worker → S3-compatible storage for the duration of the job.

Can I move instead of copy?

Yes. Move deletes the source after a verified successful upload when the provider supports delete.

Does a failed transfer use quota?

No. Only successfully completed transfers count toward monthly bandwidth.
